Robby Mayer, our 1960s specialist is a multi instrumentalist, popular in the Washington State winery circuit, and an ever growing number of senior living communities. He may show up with an acoustic 12 string guitar, harmonica, pan flute, and assorted, wearable percussion devices like shakers and foot-tambourines. Or he might bring his acoustic/electric hybrid guitar, and array of electronic signal processing devices, layering sound-on-sound to build intricate soundscapes.
You’ll hear some Donavon, Simon & Garfunkel, Peter, Paul and Mary, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and much, much more.
Robby also teaches a very popular hand drumming session, where residents can engage with the instruments themselves, and have a blast with an easy, entry-level instrument. No previous musical experience required!
